Gutter Guards, Screen, leaf filters, all the same thing basically. They all do the same thing they are supposed to prevent debris from getting in your gutters and clogging your downspouts and your pipes they go into. They also prolong the life of your gutter by keeping all the debris out of the rain gutters. When debris gets in your gutters it will start to pull on them and make them dip or sag and then it will rain and then the water gets in the gutter and pulls them even more which then messes up the slope of the gutters and then you have standing water and spikes that start to get loose and then the gutters start to pull away from the facia boards and then you are looking at major problems after that.
